Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex power electronics systems including inverters, converters, and battery management systems
- Lead PCB layout using Altium Designer for high-efficiency power circuits
- Perform thermal analysis and electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware with embedded control systems
- Conduct prototype testing and validation in ISO-certified lab environments
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design for energy storage or EV systems
- Proficiency in simulation tools (PSpice, SIMPLIS) and CAD software (Altium, Cadence)
- Expertise in high-voltage DC (HVDC) systems and safety standards (UL 1741, IEC 62109)
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex technical challenges
- Experience leading cross-functional product development from concept to production
- Validated ability to optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability
