Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power distribution systems, schematics, and circuit boards using CAD (AutoCAD Electrical, Eagle) and ECAD tools.
- Conduct thorough analysis of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, NFPA) and internal quality protocols.
- Lead the troubleshooting and debugging of complex electrical failures, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Oversee the testing phases of prototypes, including load testing, thermal analysis, and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software developers to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the design and implementation phases.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), test reports, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical system design and power electronics.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or LTSpice.
- Strong working knowledge of circuit theory, power systems, and control systems.
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller interfacing (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ARM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
