Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and validation of 48V+ power distribution systems
- Develop embedded firmware for motor control and battery management systems
- Perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation and compliance testing
- Create comprehensive schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on thermal management solutions
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation
- Knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication protocols
- Experience with high-power semiconductor devices (SiC/GaN)
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
