Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the design and development of high-voltage power supply systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and thermal management.
- PCB Design: Create detailed schematics and layout designs using industry-standard tools (Altium Designer/KiCad) for complex electronic assemblies.
- Simulation & Analysis: Utilize SPICE simulation tools to model circuit behavior and validate designs before physical prototyping.
- Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and conduct rigorous testing (EMC, EMI, safety compliance) to ensure product reliability.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, design manuals, and test reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in power electronics design and PCB layout.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Altium Designer, OrCAD, or PSpice; strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit theory.
- Standards: In-depth understanding of IEC, UL, and FCC standards for electronic safety and compliance.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and optimize system performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
