Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-voltage power supply systems and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and thermal modeling to ensure product reliability and efficiency.
- Drive the testing and validation process, including creating test plans, executing bench tests, and analyzing failure modes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical requirements and system architectures.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (IEC, UL) and regulatory certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in power electronics, PCB design, or embedded systems.
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, or PADS).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32) and communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
