Job Description
Join Nexus Core Technologies, a leader in next-generation hardware solutions, as our next Senior Electrical Engineer. We are seeking a visionary engineer to drive the design and development of cutting-edge embedded systems and power management solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and possess a passion for creating robust, scalable electrical architectures, we want to hear from you.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical design and physical implementation, mentoring junior engineers while spearheading complex circuit designs from concept to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Lead Circuit Design: Architect and design high-performance analog and digital circuits, including power management systems, RF modules, and embedded control logic.
- PCB Layout: Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure manufacturability, signal integrity, and thermal performance in complex PCB layouts.
- Prototyping & Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate designs, troubleshoot hardware issues, and optimize performance under varying environmental conditions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all hardware designs comply with industry standards such as FCC, CE, and RoHS regulations.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design for manufacturing (DFM) reports.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership in design reviews and problem-solving sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) or Computer Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in the consumer electronics or semiconductor industry.
- Tools: Proficiency in schematic capture (Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD) and PCB layout tools.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers (ARM, Cortex-M), and signal integrity analysis.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware failures and drive root cause analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
