We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our world-class engineering team in San Francisco. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of power electronics, including DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor drives.
- Design and optimize PCB schematics and layouts using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD).
- Conduct thorough electrical testing, simulation, and validation to ensure product compliance with safety standards (UL, CE, FCC).
- Collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, including documentation, BOM management, and manufacturing hand-off.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware design and power electronics.
- Strong proficiency in circuit simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE) and PCB design software.
- Deep knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN).
- Experience with thermal management and high-frequency circuit design.
- Proven track record of leading projects from prototype to production.
