OmniCore Systems is at the forefront of sustainable energy innovation. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our elite R&D team in San Francisco. In this role, you will architect the power systems that drive our next generation of smart grid technologies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-reliability hardware solutions that meet stringent regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex analog and digital circuits, including PCB layouts and schematics.
- Perform detailed electrical analysis, simulation, and testing to validate product performance and reliability.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for engineering issues.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (FCC, UL, CE).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design decisions.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical hardware design and PCB development.
- Strong proficiency in circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, LTspice) and CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware integration.
- Knowledge of power electronics, DC-DC converters, and battery management systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
