Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power electronics systems (10kW+)
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer for industrial applications
- Optimize thermal management systems for power-dense assemblies
- Collaborate on firmware integration for smart grid communication protocols
- Drive compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical workshops
- Present innovations at industry conferences and patent applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in power electronics design (solar/inverter experience required)
- Expertise in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Proven track record with EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Strong Python/C++ for embedded control systems
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
