Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical design for IoT and automation products, from concept to production
- Develop and validate PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Perform power system analysis and thermal management for high-efficiency applications
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate embedded systems and sensor technologies
- Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Ensure compliance with UL, CE, and IPC standards for safety and reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics and embedded systems design
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium/Cadence) and simulation software (ANSYS/Simulink)
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with high-voltage systems (up to 1000V) and battery management systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to launch
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
