Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and power distribution networks.
- Perform detailed load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
- Oversee the lifecycle of electrical hardware projects from conceptual design to field commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and firmware.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous peer reviews of technical designs.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local safety standards for all projects.
- Drive continuous improvement in design efficiency and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master’s preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical system design or power systems engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage equipment, transformers, and switchgear.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
