Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical schematics and PCBs for high-voltage power systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development lifecycle from concept through mass production.
- Perform rigorous simulation and thermal analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Oversee prototype build-outs and conduct comprehensive bench-top testing.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate control logic with power hardware.
- Ensure designs comply with global safety standards and regulatory requirements (UL, IEC, CE).
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in electrical design and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics or hardware design.
- Proficiency in PCB layout software such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC converters, inverters, and battery management systems.
- Experience with simulation tools like LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex hardware and perform root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading technical projects.
