Responsibilities
- Architect complex PCB designs and embedded systems for smart grid applications
- Lead power electronics development for high-efficiency energy storage solutions
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic simulations using ANSYS/Cadence tools
- Mentor junior engineers while establishing compliance with IEEE/NFPA standards
- Drive continuous improvement of electrical test protocols and validation processes
- Collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware with cloud-based control systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and OrCAD for high-speed PCB layout
- Strong background in power electronics (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Familiarity with UL 60950/62368 safety certification processes
- Demonstrated experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies
