Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Develop PCB layouts and firmware interfaces for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for electrical subsystems
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on integrated system architectures
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test protocols
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, NEC, and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or grid-scale systems design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, PSpice, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Expertise in three-phase power systems, motor drives, and energy storage integration
- Strong background in EMI/EMC compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Experience leading hardware development from concept to production
- Valid PE license or willingness to pursue within 6 months
- Published papers or patents in power engineering field highly desirable
