Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications including power distribution, avionics, and control systems
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and validation testing for mission-critical components
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis and compliance testing
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on integrated system architectures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Document designs per aerospace standards (DO-160, RTCA DO-178C)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar ECAD tools
- Expertise in signal integrity, power electronics, and embedded systems
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex hardware issues
- Familiarity with DO-160 environmental testing standards
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
