Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate PCB layouts for high-power motor controllers and battery management systems
- Perform electrical simulations and signal integrity analysis using SPICE and MATLAB
- Lead hardware integration testing and troubleshooting in lab environments
- Create comprehensive technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Collaborate with software engineers on embedded firmware interfaces
- Ensure compliance with FAA DO-160 and IPC-A-610 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design (≥1kW systems)
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD
- Strong background in 3-phase motor control and SiC/GaN device applications
- Proficiency in thermal management and EMI/EMC mitigation
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 automotive safety standards
- Experience with high-voltage systems (>500V)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
