Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power conversion systems and embedded controllers.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and prototyping to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and firmware developers to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Oversee the full PCB design lifecycle, including schematic capture, layout, and DFM analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews and technical training sessions.
- Ensure all designs comply with rigorous industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE) and safety regulations.
- Drive root cause analysis for technical issues and implement robust corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics design.
- Proficient in industry-standard EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or PSpice.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics and thermal management techniques.
- Experience with Python or MATLAB for simulation and data analysis is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
