Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems using AutoCAD and ETAP
- Lead PCB layout and circuit design for IoT energy monitoring devices
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Develop firmware interfaces for smart grid communication protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Collaborate with procurement on component selection and cost optimization
- Prepare technical documentation and patents for novel power electronics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or grid infrastructure
- Expertise in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep knowledge of IEEE 1547 and NEC standards
- Proven experience with embedded C/C++ firmware development
- Strong analytical skills for failure mode analysis
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects
