Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate complex power electronics systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead hardware development from concept through production for smart grid infrastructure
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence in cross-functional projects
- Develop firmware interfaces for embedded control systems using C/C++
- Collaborate with product teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize thermal management and power efficiency in high-density electronic designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and renewable energy systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547, UL 1741, and IEC 62109 standards
- Proven track record with high-voltage DC/AC conversion systems
- Experience leading hardware development lifecycle from prototype to mass production
- Proficiency in Python for automation of testing and validation processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
