Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Develop circuit schematics and PCB layouts for smart grid monitoring devices
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis using ANSYS and MATLAB
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design and thermal management solutions
- Lead compliance testing for UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews
- Document technical specifications and prepare patent documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and grid infrastructure
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical, and ETAP software
- Strong understanding of three-phase power systems and protective relaying
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record of delivering complex electrical projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
