Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and component selection for high-voltage applications
- Perform power analysis, thermal modeling, and failure mode assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and NEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or embedded systems design
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Experience with 3-phase inverters, battery management systems, or solar inverters
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
