Responsibilities
- Lead design, testing, and optimization of power distribution systems for renewable energy projects
- Develop embedded firmware for smart grid control systems using C/C++
- Create PCB layouts and schematics for high-efficiency power electronics
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic compatibility simulations using ANSYS
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with IEEE standards
- Collaborate with product teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or smart grid design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, and IEEE 1547 standards
- Experience with high-voltage systems (>1kV) and three-phase power analysis
- Proven track record of bringing hardware products from prototype to production
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis
