Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and validation of complex electrical systems including power distribution networks and embedded control systems
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer for high-reliability industrial applications
- Analyze and optimize power electronics circuits for efficiency and thermal performance
- Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to ensure system reliability and safety
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design excellence
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on integrated system architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage systems
- Proficiency in simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and PCB design software
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards (e.g., 1547, 519) and safety regulations (UL 1741)
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to production
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP highly desirable
