Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex electrical power distribution systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce comprehensive electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Perform advanced electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including architects, civil engineers, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous peer reviews of technical designs.
- Ensure all project designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local building code requirements.
- Troubleshoot field installation issues and provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- 7+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Expertise in power system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
- Deep understanding of low and medium voltage distribution systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects within strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical clients.
