Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex PCB layouts for aerospace-grade power management systems
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++ and RTOS
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams from prototype to FAA certification
- Analyze system requirements and create detailed technical specifications
- Optimize power efficiency in high-voltage DC distribution networks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards
- Experience with FPGA programming (VHDL/Verilog) a plus
- Proven track record of leading hardware certification projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical documentation abilities
