Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems for renewable energy applications
- Lead PCB layout and circuit design using AutoCAD and Altium Designer
- Conduct power system analysis and simulation with MATLAB/Simulink
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and IEC standards
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate new technologies
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or energy systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems and transformer design
- Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++, Python)
- PE license or eligibility in Texas
- Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects
