Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of complex analog and digital circuits.
- Develop PCB layouts, specify components, and oversee fabrication and assembly processes.
- Conduct extensive testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to integrate electrical designs.
- Perform design reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., EMI/EMC, safety).
- Contribute to system architecture definition and component selection for new product development.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a focus on power electronics, embedded systems, or sensor interfaces.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Strong understanding of analog circuit design, digital logic, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
- Demonstrated ability to bring products from concept to production, including DFM/DFA considerations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design principles and testing.
