Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial applications
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time power monitoring and control systems
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations using MATLAB/Simulink
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with IEEE standards
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive test protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics, analog/digital circuit design, and PCB fabrication
- Proficiency in simulation tools (SPICE, PSpice, ANSYS Maxwell)
- Strong knowledge of UL/IEC standards and safety compliance
- Experience with embedded C/C++ programming for microcontrollers
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from concept to production
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent preferred
- Portfolio showcasing successful hardware development projects required
