Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of electrical power systems, including distribution and generation.
- Conduct detailed load calculations, short-circuit studies, and arc flash hazard analyses.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, national, and international electrical codes (NEC, IEEE, IEC).
- Prepare technical specifications, bill of materials, and engineering documentation.
- Oversee the installation process and provide on-site technical support.
- Perform root cause analysis on system failures and implement corrective measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree (MSEE) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in the renewable energy or utility sector.
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or EPLAN.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or PSCAD is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to stakeholders.
