Responsibilities
- Design and validate power electronics systems including inverters, converters, and battery management systems
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for high-efficiency power circuits
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with software teams on embedded firmware integration
- Develop test procedures and perform reliability validation
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies and power topologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Expertise in thermal management and heat sink design
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards (e.g., 1547, 519)
- Experience with renewable energy systems or EV charging infrastructure
- Certification in Six Sigma or project management preferred
