Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-efficiency power electronics for renewable energy systems
- Lead schematic capture and PCB layout for multi-layer RF/mixed-signal boards
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in hardware integration best practices
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical specs
- Document designs through comprehensive test plans and technical reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and analysis
- Strong background in power electronics (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with high-speed digital design (DDR4, PCIe)
- Proven ability to debug hardware issues at component level
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
