Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, or motors for industrial applications.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through to mass production.
- Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed schematics using CAD software.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex circuit designs.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex system failures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design or power systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Familiarity with simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink or PSpice).
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards and electrical safety codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
