Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and municipal systems
- Manage project lifecycle from conceptual planning through construction supervision
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and clients
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and industry-specific software
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical and hydraulic principles
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
