Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and construction oversight
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or structural design
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Texas construction codes and permitting processes
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
