Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-efficiency power electronics for EV charging stations
- Develop comprehensive BMS architectures with real-time monitoring capabilities
- Perform thermal analysis and simulation for power distribution systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout and component selection
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEC 61851, and ISO 26262 standards
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and power electronics simulation tools
- Proven track record in BMS development for lithium-ion systems
- Strong understanding of CAN/LIN communication protocols
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements
- Experience with Altium Designer or similar EDA tools
- Validated problem-solving skills in high-voltage environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
