Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of high-efficiency power conversion systems for EV chargers
- Develop control algorithms for real-time power management and grid synchronization
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer for high-reliability electronics
- Conduct thermal analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to ensure product safety
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and software
- Document technical specifications and prepare compliance documentation for UL/IEC standards
- Research emerging power semiconductor technologies and recommend implementation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design, especially in high-voltage systems
- Expertise in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar PCB layout software
- Strong knowledge of safety standards (UL 1741, IEC 61851) and regulatory requirements
- Experience with embedded firmware development in C/C++ for real-time control systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to production
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-reliability environments
