Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and testing of complex analog and digital circuits for new product development.
- Architect and optimize embedded systems, including microcontroller/microprocessor selection, peripheral integration, and firmware interaction.
- Perform power electronics design, including power supply selection, DC-DC converters, and battery management systems.
- Oversee PCB layout and fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration and successful project delivery.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, conduct rigorous testing, and debug hardware prototypes to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and production guidelines in accordance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design and product development.
- Proven expertise in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, Cadence Allegro), and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers (ARM, PIC), FPGAs, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet).
- Experience with power electronics, power supply design, and thermal management.
- Proficiency in hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
