Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-efficiency power conversion systems for solar and battery storage applications
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for high-voltage (1kV+) industrial systems
- Develop firmware for embedded control systems using C/C++ and RTOS platforms
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations using ANSYS and COMSOL
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with UL/IEC standards
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Support product lifecycle from prototype through mass production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design (solar/inverter focus a plus)
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems, PFC topologies, and grid-tied inverters
- Experience with ISO 13485 or IEC 62368 safety standards
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to market
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
