Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate complex electrical systems including PCBs, power distribution, and embedded controllers
- Lead cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle from prototype to mass production
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Develop firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++ and Python
- Optimize power electronics for efficiency and thermal management
- Generate detailed technical documentation and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong background in signal integrity, power electronics, and RF design
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Experience with DO-160G environmental testing standards
- Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and budget
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
