Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar/wind farms and energy storage facilities
- Lead power electronics circuit design and validation (inverters, converters, BMS)
- Perform load flow analysis, fault studies, and compliance with IEEE/NEC standards
- Develop and review detailed schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with R&D teams on prototyping
- Coordinate with field teams for system integration and commissioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power systems experience
- Expertise in PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and AutoCAD Electrical
- PE license preferred; strong understanding of NEC/IEEE 1547
- Proven track record in medium-voltage distribution design
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid interconnection
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
