Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-efficiency power electronics systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and validation for complex embedded systems using Altium Designer
- Develop simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink to predict thermal and electromagnetic performance
- Mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with IEEE and UL safety standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate hardware-software interfaces
- Conduct root cause analysis for field failures and implement robust design improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and validation
- Expertise in switching converters, magnetics design, and thermal management
- Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools and PCB design software
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance testing methodologies
- Experience leading projects through full product lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
