Responsibilities
- Design and validate PCB layouts for high-power motor controllers
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time power monitoring systems
- Conduct EMI/EMC testing and mitigation for aerospace applications
- Create detailed technical documentation and schematics
- Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in high-power electronics design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Familiarity with DO-160G environmental standards
- Experience with motor control algorithms (FOC, BLDC)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety
- Valid US citizenship or permanent residency required
