Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from feasibility to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including TxDOT standards
- Implement sustainable design practices using BIM and Auto Civil 3D technologies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Conduct site inspections and quality control measures
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record with TxDOT and municipal projects
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain mapping and drainage systems
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
