Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-efficiency power conversion systems for large-scale energy storage
- Develop schematic designs and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Conduct thermal and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for industrial applications
- Collaborate with firmware engineers on embedded control systems and firmware integration
- Optimize power electronics performance through SPICE simulations and real-world prototyping
- Document technical specifications and prepare compliance documentation for UL/IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design for industrial applications
- Expertise in 3-phase inverters, DC-DC converters, and battery management systems
- Proficiency with simulation tools (PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink) and EDA software
- Strong understanding of thermal management techniques for high-power systems
- Experience with product lifecycle from concept to mass production
- Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timeline constraints
- Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable
