Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace propulsion and avionics
- Conduct power analysis and thermal modeling for high-voltage circuits
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for mission-critical hardware
- Perform FMEA and reliability testing under extreme environmental conditions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
- Interface with certification bodies for FAA/EASA compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in power electronics or aerospace systems design
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong background in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system simulation
