Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and sustainable urban developments
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM/CIM technologies to optimize material efficiency and construction timelines
- Develop comprehensive project documentation including engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental consultants, contractors) ensuring seamless project delivery
- Implement innovative construction methodologies and sustainable engineering practices to achieve Green Mark Platinum certification
- Conduct site inspections, quality control audits, and risk management assessments throughout project lifecycle
- Mentor junior engineers through technical training and professional development programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with P.E. certification from Singapore Board of Engineers
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles
- Expert proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D)
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects in Singapore's regulatory environment (BCA, LTA, PUB standards)
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and soil-structure interaction modeling
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other language
