Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-efficiency power electronics systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing electrical components
- Analyze circuit performance using SPICE simulation tools and validate designs through lab testing
- Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with IEEE and IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design improvements
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive project reports
- Research emerging technologies in power semiconductors and energy storage systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power electronics
- Expertise in CAD tools (Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems, switch-mode power supplies, and grid-tie inverters
- Proven track record in designing for EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management
- Experience leading projects from concept to production with budget oversight
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of automotive or industrial power systems highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
