Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar/wind energy conversion and grid integration
- Lead hardware validation through simulation, prototyping, and rigorous testing protocols
- Develop embedded firmware for power electronics control systems using C/C++
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic analysis using ANSYS/Simulink tools
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design workflows
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and international safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, PSpice, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of three-phase inverters, MPPT algorithms, and battery BMS
- Experience with high-voltage DC (HVDC) systems and grid-tie inverters
- Proven track record of bringing hardware products from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
