Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water resource systems, and urban developments
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with federal/state regulations (TCEQ, FHWA)
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments for feasibility studies
- Develop construction documentation and oversee contractor coordination
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Present technical solutions to municipal planning boards and stakeholder groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years progressive experience in civil infrastructure design with Texas PE license
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, SWMM) and transportation planning
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Familiarity with LEED and Envision sustainable rating systems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies
- Excellent communication abilities for technical documentation and public presentations
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
