Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for large-scale developments
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies for compliance and approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new infrastructure initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license in Texas
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong project management skills with proven success on $5M+ projects
- Experience with TxDOT and FEMA permitting processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
